Our story
L&S Carpentry was founded by Lee Merritt and Scott Sharp in 2010.
Learning the trade at college and gaining experience on a variety of projects, Lee and Scott decided to go into business together.
The aim was to provide a comprehensive service as well as provide the best customer experience available.
Now, with a team of over 30 highly skilled, time-served joiners and carpenters, L&S Carpentry offers services to clients all across the UK.
Hand-crafted products made with care in our Kent workshop
Our unique selling point in a crowded marketplace is that we craft our furniture and fittings in our Kent workshop.
Whether you need a custom-sized door frame, a bespoke table, or a tailor-made reception desk, we build items to your specific requirements. This means you get beautiful pieces that reflect your brand identity and show the world who you are.
For everything else, for example, fire doors, we have a dependable network of UK-based suppliers. This means we can quickly provide you with high-quality products at an affordable price point.

At L&S Carpentry Limited, we’re dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint, as well as that of the clients we partner with.
We use sustainable wood in our UK-based warehouse and endeavour to supply FSC/PEFC-certified products. We’re always happy to advise our clients on the most sustainable woods to use.
To minimise carbon footprint further, we use UK suppliers where possible.
